Got questions?
Frequently asked questions about the FRX robotic lawn mower, answered.
No, the mowers typically are not required to be serviced by a third party. The mowers are electric and do not require greasing. Updates for the mower are provided via the internet and can be installed through the app when the mower is connected to the internet.
The FJDLandscaping app will work on most mobile phones. Check the Apple App Store and Google Play Store to confirm suitability with your phone.
We typically use two methods to obtain the correction data.
- If operating within areas with a good internet signal (WIFI or SIM), we recommend the use of the AUSCORS network which is provided for free by the Australian Government.
- If operating within areas with poor or no internet signal, we recommend installing a fixed base-station (can be purchased as a package with this equipment) which transmits the data via radio frequency.
