Got questions?
Frequently asked questions about the RLM02 Paint Master Mini, answered.
These products offer high-accuracy marking from stable local base station signals, customisable templates, multiple map creation options, auto-resume marking, and reduced drift and NTRIP-related costs.
We typically use two methods to obtain the correction data.
- If operating within areas with a good internet signal (WIFI or SIM), we recommend the use of the AUSCORS network which is provided for free by the Australian Government.
- If operating within areas with poor or no internet signal, we recommend installing a fixed base-station (can be purchased as a package with this equipment) which transmits the data via radio frequency.
Standard maintenance includes cleaning the line marker thoroughly with fresh water to remove any residual paint from the system. Regular software updates are sent to the equipment via internet connection and need to be accepted by the user to be installed. When spare parts are required, most of these components can be replaced by the user without too much hassle.
No, you don’t need a special brand of paint for the line marker. Any turf marking paint that is used for your current field marking applications should work in most cases. However, it is best practice to ensure the paint is free from any particulate matter to ensure best results and to prevent the pump from getting blocked.
